Dog Training Experience:  Ann has been a volunteer dog training instructor for over 25 years.  She has taught or assisted with classes in Puppy Kindergarten, Basic , Beginner Novice, Novice and Open Obedience, all levels of Rally, Flyball, Games and Tricks, CFF Freestyle-Beginner and Advanced for Brevard County Dog Training Club.  She has been a member of Therapy Dogs Inc. and a Tester/Observer for almost 20 years.  She is Secretary of the First Florida Freestylers Guild and has been active in the Canine Freestyle Federation since 2002 .  Ann currently serves on the Board of Directors as Judging Chair. 

Her first freestyle dog, Pippin is the subject of her book, Freestyle Techniques for Pet Therapy Visits which is available from the Federation.  Ann actively competes in Obedience, Rally and Freestyle.

Community Organizations:  Space Coast Therapy Dogs, Brevard County Therapy Dogs, Brevard County Dog Training Club, Canine Assisted Reading Education (CARE to Read)

Career Education:  Ann is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Occupational Therapy.

Family:  There are four dogs in Ann’s family.  The oldest is Pippin, a Toy Poodle, 13 years old, who was inducted into the CFF Hall of Fame in 2012.  Next is Chasca Coyllur, an 8 year old Peruvian Hairless Dog who suffers from PRA and has gone blind in the last year.  He is retired from competitive dog sports but still works regularly as an AKC ThD.   Lacey, her 5 year old Toy Poodle who was adopted last year after finishing her breeding career, is currently in training for obedience, rally and freestyle, has her RN title and is also a therapy dog.  The youngest is Aidan, Lacey’s son, 2 years old, also in training classes with his mother.  Aidan has his RN, CGC, and has earned his AKC ThD title.  He has a CFF I title.
