I am President and Cofounder of the Canine Freestyle Federation.  My choreography for the "original four" and my definition of Canine Freestyle in 1993 began Canine Freestyle as a new discipline in the sport of dogs.  I have continued to promote the sport and CFF through choreography, seminars and classes in the US, Canada, England, and Bermuda.  I have trained and instructed dogs in obedience and freestyle for 20 years.  The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is my breed of choice. I am the Chair of Performance Activities for the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club.  Before my involvement with dogs, I was a dancer-choreographer.  I taught modern dance, choreography, stage movement and educational dance at the university level for 17 years.  My choreographic experience includes pure dance works as well as musicals. I produced the National College Dance Festival for Kennedy Center, gave a solo performance in the concert hall of Kennedy Center, and ended my dance career as administrative assistant to the Alliance for Arts in Education.
