Harley, my 13 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, has been doing Freestyle with me since 2001. At that time, she was always timid and shy when doing obedience or agility. As she learned that she had a say in how her Freestyle routines were choreographed and had opportunities to throw in moves of her own, she really blossomed and Freestyle became one of her favorite activities. She doesn’t compete now, but is still excited to work with me and show off her special moves for Demos or in Veterans’ class.
