I am Past President and Co-founder of the Canine Freestyle Federation. My choreography for the "original four" and my definition of Canine Freestyle in 1993 began CanineFreestyle DogWork® a new discipline in the sport of dogs. I have continued to promote the sport and the Federation through choreography, seminars and classes in the US, Canada, England, and Bermuda. I have trained dogs and instructed others in dogwork since 1983. The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is my breed of choice. I was the Chair of Companion/Performance Activities for the American Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club for 20 years. Before my involvement with dogs, I was a dancer-choreographer. I taught modern dance, choreography, stage movement and educational dance to children and adults for 17 years. My choreographic experience includes pure dance works as well as musicals. I produced the National College Dance Festival for Kennedy Center, gave a solo performance in the concert hall of Kennedy Center, and ended my dance career as administrative assistant to the Alliance for Arts in Education in Washington D.C. Presently I am the Federation Director of Education and a member of the Federation Board of Directors.
